Audi RS5 Sportback
Audi used the recent 2018 New York Motor Show to platform the all-new RS5 Sportback. Featuring a 2.9 TFSI V6 twin turbo engine, the RS5 Sportback produces 444bhp and 600Nm of torque. This takes the RS5 to 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds and produces a top speed of 174mph and 155mph if the limiter is removed.
Audi states that the new turbochargers are mounted at a 90-degree angle to the cylinder banks, which means that the exhaust side of the cylinder heads is inside, and the intake side is outside, this compact design allowing for short fuel paths with minimal flow loss.
The exterior design gets a longer wheelbase, short overhangs and long, wraparound engine hood. The Sportback also features a wide and flat single frame grille, large RS-specific honeycomb air intakes and matte aluminium-optic front spoiler with Quattro script, matte aluminium-optic exterior mirror housings and high gloss black side sills. The car comes with 19-inch wheels as standard - 20-inch wheels are available as an optional extra.
Inside the Audi RS5 Sportback you will find Audi latest virtual cockpit and full colour head-up display, with a unique RS overlay that displays information on tire pressure, torque, a shift light indicator and G-forces. You will also find Audi smartphone interface, which provides Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto integration for compatible mobile devices.
Standard high-level systems also include Audi pre-sense basic, Audi pre-sense city, Audi side assist, rear cross traffic assist and Audi pre-sense rear, as well as available adaptive cruise control with stop & go and traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, Audi active lane assist and high beam assistant.

This five-seater dual cab features a cargo box measuring 1,627 mm in length, 1,450 mm in width and 530 mm in height that has been created to transport bikes, boards and smaller boats.

The impressive front design of the Tanoak includes a newly designed grille with integrated headlights that wrap around the front fender and a metal kickplate and winch with outer air ducts surrounded by distinctive LED day time running lights. Genesis Essentia Concept
Hyundai’s luxury spin off brand stole the luxury ribbon at the recent New Motor-show with the striking GT called the Genesis Essentia Concept. Production is set to begin soon with models due on the road by 2022.
The Essentia concept is built around a monocoque powered by a multi-motor electric powertrain that uses high-density battery packs, Genesis is still to reveal if these will be the latest solid-state technology. Unlike most current electric cars, the battery is located in a central tunnel within the car that allows the vehicle to be lower to the ground, making for a more aggressive appearance.
The Essentia's body panels are made of carbon fibre and feature butterfly-style doors, that can be opened automatically using fingerprint controls or biometric facial recognition using a sensor mounted in the B-pillar. The transparent hood upfront displays the pushrod suspension parts and spans from the grille all the way back to the placement of a rear window. Genesis employs its latest laser-optical Quad Lights, which are integrated right into the body. These same lighting elements are found at the rear where the car's classic GT proportions round off with a short deck.
A classic design featuring a modern technology mix can be found inside the Genesis Essentia. The dash takes the form of a classic sports car’s but houses a wide infotainment display. The seats are quilted “Cognac” brown leather with an Oxford Blue leather trimmed console, with most of the cabin having been created using 3D printing.
There is no shortage of technology within the Genesis with the latest voice assistance, driving behaviour analysis and driver mood determination. Genesis says the Essentia also integrates into an owner's smart home ecosystem, allowing drivers to pre-program heating and cooling settings, turn on the lights etc. Advanced vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure tech helps keep Essentia on top of the transportation game and able to react to changing road conditions or traffic situations.
